The New Brunswick Egg Producers (NBEP) is a producer organization established under provincial legislation called the Natural Products Act. Our funding comes directly from producers, not the government, however the operations of our organization are supervised by the New Brunswick Farm Products Commission.
The regulatory authority of the NB Egg Producers can be found in the Natural Products Act; the Egg Plan and Levies Regulation; and the Egg Plan Administration Regulation. The NBEP also establishes Orders to effectively carry out their mandate.
